About

Dr. Olivia’s aim is to help you make choices that align with your values, both in the moment and as

you move through the internal conflicts that surface while healing. Guided by her core values of

connection, awareness, and authenticity, Olivia strives to bring compassion and humor into your

collaboration.

Dr. Olivia believes that to provide the best clinical care, it is important to deeply understand the

systems her clients operate within. Olivia has a range of experiences that bring both breadth and

depth to her clinical work, including past work in university counseling centers, in-patient units,

secondary education systems, private practices, and athletic departments.

Dr. Olivia works to support all individuals, especially those navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship

concerns, and depression. She also specializes in sport and performance psychology, working

alongside her clients (e.g., athletes, performing artists, business professionals) to foster

sustainable performance excellence both in sport and in life.

Approach to therapy

Olivia’s trauma-informed approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She helps clients understand how past experiences, whether a

single significant event or the accumulated weight of relational, cultural, or systemic harm,

continue to shape present-day patterns. Together, you’ll gently explore the relationships and

experiences behind your hardest moments, reframing them not as pathology, but as normal

responses to abnormal circumstances.

From her work with adults and athletes alike, much of what she sees in both populations comes

back to the same root: distress when we struggle with the pressure to perform—whether in the

office, in relationships, or on the field. The more we use performance as a measure of our worth,

the more we do to try to improve, and often, the more distress we feel. Innately, we are each

enough as we are, and revisiting our values can help us recognize that in the present moment.

We live in a culture of doing. While part of the work together will be helping you move toward

your goals, it's just as important to practice the opposite to—slow down, reconnect with your

core values, and feel content simply being. Olivia actively works on this in her own life, too, not

just as a clinician asking it of clients.
