Dr. Cannon is a validating and active counseling psychologist. She provides a space for exploration, authenticity, building motivation, and practicing new skills. Approach to therapy
Dr. Cannon offers individual and couple therapy for adults struggling with anxiety, OCD, addictive behaviors, career issues, unsatisfying relationships, grief, perfectionism, stress, and other common experiences in today’s world. Therapy sessions are tailored to clients’ goals, values, and strengths.
Dr. Cannon incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindful Self-Compassion. She emphasizes mindfulness practice to help clients develop self-acceptance, cultivate self-compassion, and build tolerance for uncomfortable experiences.

Once you complete this form, we will reach out. If we have a fitting opening, we will schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to assess fit further together.
Assessment and Planning
The first 2-4 sessions involve assessing your history, symptoms, and goals. Together, you and your psychologist will establish a treatment plan and discuss next steps.
Ongoing Weekly Sessions
Sessions are typically weekly for 55 minutes at a consistent time. You and your psychologist will focus on your treatment needs and goals.
